Overview
Ladies and gentlemen – start your engines!
The demented ringmaster known only as Calypso has returned to host another macabre circus of turbo-charged destruction – the Twisted Metal™ tournament – and you are invited to compete for one grand prize: your greatest wish granted.

Join an infamous cast of characters including Sweet Tooth, Doll Face and The Preacher and get behind the wheel of some of the most violent vehicles imaginable, armed with an arsenal of devastating weaponry. Follow the dark and twisted stories of the tournament contestants in the cinematic single player game or take the madness online and compete in a variety of multiplayer modes – including explosive deathmatches and chaotic races at breakneck speeds.

• Take your rage to the road in 30 arenas spread across eight nightmare maps.
• Blast your opponents in a host of violent vehicles or put an evil twist on your custom ride.
• Challenge friends and rivals in four-player split screen games.
• Get the last maniacal laugh in explosive 16 player online battles.
• Enter the online tournament and choose your favourite team from the Skulls, Dolls, Holy Men and Clowns, including Sweet Tooth – the terrifying, flame-haired ice-cream van driver.
